Meet Dena Stebbins DeCamp

Dena DeCamp is well-known for her strong work ethic and the spirit of grassroots leadership. She secured her first job at age 14 and launched her first venture, Helen’s Uniform Store, at 23. For the past 20 years, Dena has been diligently expanding her custom embroidery business in South Lakeland, showcasing her formidable business acumen and dedication to community service.

Her heart for civic duty led her to the local Republican Women’s Club(RWC), became a member, and was subsequently elected as its President. Serving as President, her continued commitment to uplifting and inspiring her community, she served as the President of the Republican Women Federated of Lakeland from 2009 to 2014.

Dena is distinguished by her hands-on approach, leading and volunteering with a sincerity and devotion that resonated deeply within the organization. In 2014, Florida Governor Rick Scott recognized Dena’s outstanding dedication when he presented her with the Republican Party of Florida Volunteer of the Year Award.

After serving with distinction as both the 1st and 2nd vice president and holding multiple other state offices, Dena was elected President of the Florida Federation of Republican Women. In 2016, the Trump campaign called upon her to mobilize women’s support for the ticket. Dena took to the stage at four central Florida Trump rallies—Tampa, Kissimmee, Daytona, and Lakeland—and participated in several live radio broadcasts, advocating for women to vote for Donald Trump.

In recognition of her efforts and acknowledgment of her steadfast principle, she had the honor of serving as an Elector for Donald Trump and participating in the RNC Convention in Cleveland, Ohio, as a delegate for the presidential candidate in 2016. In 2017, Dena Stebbins DeCamp, a leading figure in the Florida Republican community, was honored with the Ronald Reagan Leadership Award at the National Federation of Republican Women’s 39th Biennial Convention.

This prestigious award, initiated by the NFRW in 2005, acknowledges the exceptional leadership of one state president. This award was a tribute to her genuine, down-to-earth leadership, which has deeply rooted itself in the foundation of her community and party, blossoming into a legacy of impactful service and heartfelt dedication.
